INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
IMPORTANT!
Please read these instructions carefully before using your helmet for the first time.
HELMET FIT: The helmet must be correctly adjusted to provide adequate protection. With a proper fit, it should not move backward, forward, or sideways when the chin strap is fastened. With the helmet on your head, adjust the dial on the nape until it comfortably hugs your head.
RETENTION SYSTEM: This helmet uses a chin strap with a quick-release system, which can be opened and closed without needing to re-adjust the back of the helmet. The chin strap should be comfortably tight, allowing you to open your mouth without choking and without it slipping over the chin. If it is loose, tighten it after removing the helmet. To verify correct tension, you should be able to open your mouth without the strap choking you.
MAINTENANCE AND CARE: The helmet must be washed after each use, especially if it has been in contact with seawater. Use water and neutral soap. It must be stored completely dry.Special care must be taken during storage not to exceed 50ºC. The use of solvents, paints, or stickers can damage the helmet and make it ineffective. Any helmet that has suffered an impact must be discarded and never used again. The helmet must not be modified, and no components should be removed. Any modification may void its certification and protective capacity.
