With a proper fit, it should not move backward, forward, or sideways when the chin strap is fastened. <\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">With the helmet on your head, adjust the dial on the nape until it comfortably hugs your head.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">RETENTION SYSTEM: <\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">This helmet uses a chin strap with a quick-release system, which can be opened and closed without needing to re-adjust the back of the helmet. <\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">The chin strap should be comfortably tight, allowing you to open your mouth without choking and without it slipping over the chin. If it is loose, tighten it after removing the helmet. <\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">To verify correct tension, you should be able to open your mouth without the strap choking you.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">MAINTENANCE AND CARE: <\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">The helmet must be washed after each use, especially if it has been in contact with seawater. Use water and neutral soap. It must be stored completely <\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">dry.<\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Special care must be taken during storage not to exceed 50\u00baC. The use of solvents, paints, or stickers can damage the helmet and make it ineffective. <\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Any helmet that has suffered an impact must be discarded and never used again. <\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">The helmet must not be modified, and no components should be removed.
